Two men have been arrested in Derry following a three-vehicle collision in Derry yesterday.

The collision, involving two cars and a scrambler, occurred on the Ringfort Road in Derry at around 2.40pm yesterday afternoon.

The rider of the scrambler, a man in his teens, was taken for treatment following the collision and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The two men, aged 19 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury and grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 40-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.

Both men remain in custody.

Anyone who was travelling in the Ringfort Road area and who witnessed the collision, or captured dash-cam footage which could assist with police enquiries, is being asked to contact police in Strand Road, Derry on 101, quoting reference number 855 22/08/25.
