Appeal over movements of two cars after Limerick burglaries

Gardaí investigating aggravated burglaries and criminal damage at properties in Co Limerick have appealed for information about the movements of two cars.

The incidents happened late yesterday evening and early this morning.

A number of people forced their way into a house on Shanabooley Road in Ballynanty at 11.55pm last night and caused damage to the property.

They then fled the scene in two cars.

Later at around 1am, a caravan on the Dublin Road was damaged.

Gardaí have said both locations are being investigated, and that no injuries have been reported.

They have said their inquiries are ongoing and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
