A man in his 40s has been arrested following the seizure of around €1.9 million worth of drugs in Co Wexford, yesterday.

The drugs were seized following a search of a premises in New Ross.

More than 89kg of cannabis with an estimated value of €1.76m, and 2kg of cocaine worth around €140,000 was seized.

The man was arrested following the seizure and is being held at a Wexford garda station.
