A man in his 50s has died following a hit-and-run collision in which two pedestrians were struck in Co Antrim yesterday.
The crash occurred on the Ballyeaston Road in Ballyclare at around 10.35pm last night.
A man and a woman were struck by a car which failed to stop at the scene.
The man, aged in his 50s, died of his injuries.
The woman, who is aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
A man has been arrested in connection with the collision, police confirmed.
The PSNI appealed to anyone who was on the Ballyeaston Road between 9.30pm and 10.35pm and who witnessed the collision, or drivers who may have captured it on their dash cam, to get in touch with them by calling 101 and quoting reference number 1771 15/08/25.
Investigations are ongoing.
