A man in his 40s has died following a road crash in Co Tipperary yesterday.
Emergency services and gardaí responded to a single vehicle crash on the R445 at Nenagh after 10.10pm.
The driver, aged in his 40s, was discovered unresponsive at the scene.
He received medical treatment before being transferred to University Hospital Limerick.
He was pronounced dead in hospital.
The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
The scene was preserved for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Particularly those with camera footage, including dash-cam footage, who were travelling in Nenagh between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday.
