A Status Yellow Rain warning is in place for Cork and Kerry.
Met Éireann has issued the warning forecasting spells of heavy rain with possible isolated thunderstorms.
There is the possiblity of spot flooding, poor visibility and difficult travel conditions.
The warning is in place until 10am.
