A 16-year-old girl has died after she was struck by a car in Bangor, Co Down, last night.
The girl, named as Jaidyn Rice from the local area, died after she was hit by the car on the West Circular Road shortly before 11pm.
Police and emergency services attended the scene, where she was pronounced dead.
The road had been closed for a time but has since reopened.
Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage which could assist them to come forward.
