Over 30,000 cigarettes and 2.4kg of tobacco has been seized, following searches of two premises in Co Offaly.
Revenue officers carried out the searches as part of ongoing operations targetting what they called the "shadow economy and the supply and sale of illicit tobacco products".
Revenue say the 34,160 cigarettes branded Marlboro, Winston, Rothmans and Gold Virginia have an estimated retail value of over €32,900, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €25,900.
