A man in his 20s has been arrested following the discovery of two people hidden in a truck at Rosslare Europort this morning.
Gardaí with customs and revenue officers found the two men during an immigration check shortly after 8am.
Gardaí said the two men are being assessed by medical personnel.
The man in his 20s who was the driver of the truck has been arrested for an alleged offence under Section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Smuggling of Persons) Act 2021.
He is being detained at a garda station in the Wexford/Wicklow Garda Division.
