According to Met Éireann, heavy showers are expected to continue tonight, and there will be patchy rain and drizzle over the southern half of the country.
While the weather is set to clear tomorrow morning, there will be mist and fog in places.
Met Éireann Meteorologist Linda Hughes said tomorrow and Thursday will be "fairly good", however rain is expected across the weekend.
"Friday, kind of clouding over, a bit of rain moving into the west and sadly, some rain for the weekend," she added.
