Gardaí have seized 20 pipe bombs understood to be connected to one side of the Drogheda feud in Co Louth.
The devices were discovered in a ditch behind a property in Ardee.
The intelligence-led operation was carried out by the Drogheda Divisional Drug Unit and was linked to a recent seizure of €190,000 worth of cannabis in the county.
During the course of today's search operation, a total of 20 pipe bombs were located.
A cordon was established, and the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attended the scene.
Gardaí have said that the EOD team examined the suspect devices and subsequently made them safe.
The devices were removed from the area for further examination, and the cordon was lifted.
Investigations are said to be ongoing.
