Over €342,000 in cash was seized from two passengers at Dublin Airport by gardaí and Revenue's Customs Service yesterday.

Gardaí said the seizure was the result of an "intelligence led operation."

A man and a woman, both in their 60s, were arrested and are being detained at a garda station in Dublin.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
