A man in his 80s has died after he was struck by a car in Co Roscommon.
The incident occurred at around 6pm on the R377 on the outskirts of Castlerea.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The road was closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
