Woman injured following hit and run in Cork city

A woman in her 30s has been injured following a hit-and-run in Cork city.

The incident happened on the North Ring Road shortly after 7am.

The woman was brought to Cork University Hospital for injuries not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car involved failed to remain at the scene.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone who may have been in the area and who may have dashcam footage to make it available to them.
