A man has been charged after a fight between two men with weapons in Killarney, Co Kerry.
He has since appeared before the courts.
Gardaí responded to reports of an altercation at Upper Park Road at approximately 3pm on Thursday, 19 December.
Separately, gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision collision involving a silver Volkswagen Passat and a silver Ford people carrier in Ballyspillane yesterday at approximately 3.15pm.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing and gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
"Any person with information regarding either of these incidents or anyone who may have video footage, including dash-cam, is asked to come forward," they said.
