A woman in her 50s has died after she was struck by a car in Co Wexford last night.
The incident occurred on the N25 at Stokestown at around 7.10pm.
No other injuries were reported.
The N25 Eastbound road is closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place through New Ross.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was travelling in the area and who may have camera footage, including from a dash cam, to contact New Ross Garda Station on 051 426 030, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
