The PSNI has confirmed that it is investigating an alleged incident during a trip to the US by the Armagh All-Ireland winning squad last month.

Players, backroom staff, wives and girlfriends were taken to Miami for a week to celebrate their victory over Galway in July.

The PSNI is investigating an incident alleged to have happened during the trip.

"A report was made to the Police Service of Northern Ireland regarding an incident which is believed to have occurred in the United States in November," a PSNI spokesperson said.

"Enquiries are currently being carried out and no further details are available at present."
