A man aged in his late teens, who was travelling on an e-scooter and discovered with serious injuries in Tralee, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The young man was discovered at around 6.30pm yesterday evening on Saint Brendan's Road in the town.
He was taken to University Hospital Kerry where his condition is described as critical.
The scene remains preserved for a technical examination.
Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the area between 6pm and 7pm and who may have camera or dash-cam footage are asked to contact gardaí at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
