A Status Yellow fog warning is currently in place for Leinster, Munster, Cavan, Monaghan, Galway, Leitrim and Roscommon.
Met Éireann has warned that there will be widespread mist and fog which could lead to poor visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.
The warning is in effect until 10am tomorrow.

Met Éireann said that it will be a mostly dry night tonight, but fog will be dense in places.
Temperatures will fall to between 1C and 9C, mildest in western and northwestern counties.
Gardaí are asking road users to drive with caution this evening, especially in areas where there is dense fog and poor visibility.
They are advising commuters to slow down and keep an eye out for pedestrians and cyclists.
