A man has been arrested after a shotgun and ammunition were seized in Co Cork.
They were discovered by gardaí at a checkpoint in Mallow at around 1.10am.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and is being held at a garda station in the Cork Division.
The seized items will be sent to the Garda Ballistics Unit for further analysis.
