Two men have been arrested following public order, criminal damage and dangerous driving incidents in Dublin.
The incidents took place between Tallaght and the M50 southbound.
Gardaí said they responded to an incident in which a number of vehicles were set on fire near Brookfield Road in Tallaght.
They added the Public Order Unit was deployed to "manage the situation".
Gardaí said no injuries have been reported.
Later, a vehicle attempted to ram a garda vehicle.
Gardaí found the vehicle in Co Wicklow and the two men were arrested.
They are being held at a garda station in the Dublin area and gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
