Five men were arrested following a disturbance at a Co Donegal church this morning.
The men, who are aged in their 30s and 60s, were detained following a public order incident at the Church of the Irish Martyrs in Letterkenny.
A number of weapons were also seized.
The incident happened as 11.30am mass was about to begin at the church, which is located at Ballyraine.
A number of people began to argue in the porch of the church and the disagreement moved inside the building.
When the group left the church local gardaí, as well as the Garda Armed Response Unit, were in the car park.
The five men are due to appear at a special sitting of Letterkenny District Court tomorrow.
