A rescue operation for a man on Cnoc Bréannain on the Dingle Peninsula in Co Kerry has ended after a body was found.
The rescue was co-ordinated by Valentia Coastguard Station.
Emergency services received a call at 1:50pm.
The man fell a significant distance from a ridge known as the Eisc, which is located on the eastern flanks of Cnoc Bréanainn.
The Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 115 assisted with the rescue.
Members of the Daingean Uí Chúis Unit of the Irish Coast Guard and the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team assisted in the operation alongside the national ambulance service and An Garda Síochána.
The man's remains have been removed to Kerry University Hospital.
