Tánaiste Micheál Martin will have his first official meeting with the new Northern Ireland Secretary of State tomorrow.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Hilary Benn will discuss a range of issues including the UK's efforts to foster better relations with the EU and the Labour Party's pledge to repeal the controversial legislation ending investigations into Troubles killings.
Funding for the GAA's planned new stadium at Casement Park, selected as one of the host venues for the 2028 Euro football championships, will also be on the agenda.
They have met several times in the past but this will be their first official engagement.
Mr Benn phoned the Tánaiste shortly after he was appointed last Friday to stress the new British government's desire to "reset" the relationship with Ireland.
Taoiseach Simon Harris pledged that Ireland will be the UK's ally as it seeks to rebuild relations with the EU, which could include negotiating a new SPS veterinary agreement.
Irish Government officials have been encouraged by the tone of Mr Benn and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with the emphasis on fulfilling their roles as co-guarantors of the Good Friday Agreement.
The Taoiseach and Mr Starmer will have their first official meeting at Downing Street next week.
