A status yellow rain warning has been issued for counties Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford.

There will be heavy, possibly thundery rain, with the warning in place until midnight.

Met Éireann has warned road users of hazardous travelling conditions and delays as well as poor visibility.

Spot flooding is also possible.

A status yellow thunderstorm warning that was issued for 18 counties has now expired.
