A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving a truck in Co Cork.
The man, aged in his 40s, was fatally injured in the crash at Toureenfineen.
His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Garda forensic collision investigators are currently carrying out an examination of the scene.
The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this available to gardaí.

Separately, a cyclist has died in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, after her bike collided with a truck this morning.
