The jury in the case against two young men accused of murdering a 29-year-old man in Cork during Christmas 2022 will resume their deliberations this morning.
Ricardo Hoey, 21, of Ardcarrig, Carrigaline, Co Cork, and Jordan Deasy, 19, of Ravensdale, Heron's Wood, have both pleaded not guilty to the murder of Matt O'Neill at Glenwood estate, Carrigaline, on 28 December that year.
The jury of six women and six men at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork deliberated throughout yesterday and have considered the evidence for approximately five and a half hours.
Today will be the eleventh day of the trial.
