Two men have been arrested at a property in Galway city in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth almost €900,000.
The suspected cannabis plants and herbs were discovered during a search operation earlier today and will analysed by Forensic Science Ireland.
During the course of the search overseen by the Galway Division drugs strategy, a large-scale cannabis "grow house" was discovered.
The men who are in their 20s are being detained at a garda station in the region and investigations are ongoing.
