Two men in their 20s have been arrested after almost €890,000 worth of cannabis was seized in Galway city.
Cannabis plants and herb were confiscated after officers from the Galway Divisional Drugs Unit searched a property at around 11.30am, where a large-scale cannabis cultivation operation was discovered.
The men were arrested at the scene and are being held at a garda station in the north western region.
The seized drugs are subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
