A taskforce has been set up to deal with ongoing discolouration of the water supply in Cork city.
Uisce Éireann has said the reports of such issues have reduced since they peaked last October and are closer to what might be associated with an aged network such as the one in Cork.
However, the utility is advising residents not to drink discoloured water and to contact them if such issues persist.
Speaking on RTÉ's News at One, Green Party Councillor Oliver Moran said all areas in the city are affected.
He said after a meeting with Uisce Éireann, he is confident they are working hard but added that no end was in sight.

He added that he felt household complaints were down due to "fatigue" over complaining about the issue.
Uisce Éireann is developing a more nuanced system, which is being trialled in the Douglas area, he said.
"That is about trying to understand the way that the sediment is flowing within the mains pipes and then making adjustments, so that it finds its natural level."
Mr Moran reiterated that it was important for people to keep reporting instances as the data was driving the response.
