An investigation is under way after a car crashed into a building and a fire broke out in Co Carlow overnight.
Gardaí said they are investigating an incident of criminal damage and fire at a premises on Tullow Street in Carlow town.
The incident occurred at around 2.30am when a car hit the front of the building.
Fire services attended the scene to control the fire which had broken out.
Significant damage was caused to the property but no injuries were reported.

The fire follows a similar incident in May 2022 after a car crashed into a different building on Tullow Street.
