A man, aged in his 40s, has died following a single-vehicle crash involving a truck in Co Wicklow.
The incident happened on the M11 close to junction 19 in Arklow at around 1.45pm.
The man was pronounced dead and his body remains at the scene.
A forensic examination of the scene is under way.
No other injuries were reported and the southbound lane of the M11 is closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the M11 between 1.15pm and 2pm have been asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
