Offaly Fire Service was called to a fire in a recycling facility on the Cappincur Road in Tullamore just before 9pm last night.
Fire crews from Tullamore, Clara, Kilbeggan and a water tanker from Edenderry responded initially to the incident.
There are no injuries to report however there has been significant damage to the building.
The fire is under control and one crew remain on the scene dampening down.
