Gardaí are investigating after a stolen car clocked doing 184km/h in a 100km/h zone drove against traffic following a chase in Co Westmeath.
The vehicle, which was stolen in Blanchardstown on Wednesday, was speeding on the N4 yesterday morning and failed to stop when prompted by officers.

In a post on social media, gardaí appealed for witnesses and asked for anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident to contact Mullingar Garda Station.
