A man who was hit by a car in east Cork three days ago has died in hospital.
The man in his 60s was seriously injured after being hit on Upper Cork Hill in Youghal at around 6.20pm on Thursday.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital where he has since died.
The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said they are hoping to hear from any road user who was in the area between 6pm and 6.30pm who may have camera footage, including dash-cam.
