Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for witnesses to a robbery yesterday evening.
At around 5.10pm, a man armed with a machete, entered a business premises in Arundel Square in the city centre.
He threatened staff before fleeing the scene on a bicycle via Henrietta Street a short time later.
Gardaí said a number of items were stolen, but the machete and bicycle believed to have been used in the incident have since recovered.
They are appealing to anyone in Arundel Square shopping district and surrounding areas, including Spring Garden Alley and New Street, yesterday evening between 4.45pm and 5.45pm to come forward.
Those who have camera footage (including dash cam) are asked to make this available to gardaí.
