An investigation is under way after some members of a south Dublin under-14 boys GAA team were robbed after disembarking a bus on Saturday.

It is understood that some of Ballyboden St Enda's players were mugged at knifepoint during the incident, which occurred at Taylor's Lane in Ballyboden, at around 5.40pm.

A number of belongings, including mobile phones, were taken.

Gardaí said no injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

Investigations are ongoing, they added.
