A Status Yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim, north Mayo and Sligo.
Met Éireann said that heavy rainfall leading to localised flooding can be expected.
The warning is valid from 6am until 9pm today.
Tomorrow, a Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford, valid from 2am to noon, when southerly winds will increase strong to gale force and gusty, Met Éireann said.
These onshore winds, coupled with high spring tides, will lead to some coastal flooding.
In Northern Ireland, the UK Met Office has issued a yellow heavy rain warning for the six counties, which may lead to some transport disruption.
This warning is valid from 4am to 11am.
Meanwhile, there were strong winds and heavy showers in across parts of Ireland after Storm Gerrit hit.
Multiple official weather warnings had been issued, with the west coast bearing most of the strong gusts.
There were some reports of damage, including one incident in Wexford where winds ripped through a shed and damaged a home.
