Cyclist dies following road collision in Dublin

A person has died following a road collision in Dublin.

The person was on an e-bike when it collided with a truck on Dolphin's Barn Bridge at around 12.30pm.

The cyclist was brought to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries but died later.

No one else was injured in the incident.

The road was closed for a forensic examination but has since reopened.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses, particularly those who may have dash cam or video footage, to contact them.
