Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information over an alleged assault of a woman in Co Longford over two months ago.
The woman, 50s, suffered serious injuries after the alleged attack at the Mall in Longford Town at 2.30am on 7 August.
She was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar for treatment of her injuries.
Gardaí said investigators are particularly interested in speaking to any individuals who were present in the Mall or on Great Water Street between the hours of 1am and 3am on the morning of the alleged assault.
They are also hoping to hear from those who may have video or dashcam footage from the area at the time.
