A cyclist has died in a collision with a car in Co Clare this afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident, which happened on the N67 Kilkee to Moyasta Road at Baunmore at around 12.30pm.
No other serious injuries were reported.
The N67 at Baunmore is closed and local diversions are in place.
Forensic investigators have been requested and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Road users with camera footage travelling on the N67 in Baunmore between 12pm and 1pm are asked to share this with gardaí.
