A man in his 50s has died following a road crash in Co Mayo.
The collision involving two cars happened on the N5 at Ballymiles near Swinford around 3.35pm.
The man was the driver of one of the cars.
The second driver, also a man, was taken to Mayo University Hospital with serious injuries.
A man and a woman, both passengers from each car, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
A technical examination has taken place and the road has since reopened.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with camera footage from the area at the time of the collision, to come forward.
