Around €120,000 worth of suspected ketamine has been seized in Dublin.

The operation investigating the sale and supply of drugs was carried out in Clondalkin yesterday as part of Operation Tara.

At around 6pm, gardaí searched a male in his late teens who was found to be in possession of approximately €600 worth of suspected cannabis.

He was arrested and questioned and has since been released pending further investigations.

Gardaí say that during a follow-up search of the immediate area, a package hidden in undergrowth, containing around €120,000 of suspected ketamine, was seized.

Investigations are ongoing and the drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
