Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin this afternoon.
Two males - one armed with an imitation gun - approached a security guard outside a post office on St Agnes Road in Crumlin shortly before 1pm.
The pair threatened the man, took the cash box he was carrying and fled the scene on an electric scooter and a bike via St Agnes Road in the direction of Windmill Road.
No injuries were reported and the imitation gun was recovered by gardaí.
Road users with dash-cam footage, travelling on St Agnes Road/Windmill Road between 12.30pm and 1.30pm are asked to make the footage available to gardaí.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
