Gardaí in Portlaoise are renewing their appeal for information about an incident involving a quad bike which claimed the life of a teenager last month.
The incident happened in a wooded area near Ballyshanduff, Ballybrittas, at around 1.30pm on 9 April.
Gardaí say the two teenagers were onboard the quad bike when it hit a tree.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise, where he later died.
The victim was named locally as David Brown from the Dublin Road area of Portlaoise, who was an underage GAA player with Portlaoise GAA and had also represented Laois county sides.
A second boy was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore, Co Offaly to be treated for injuries.
Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing and have renewed their appeal for any witnesses to contact them.
They are asking anyone who was in the area on Sunday between 1pm and 2pm and who may have seen the quad bike to contact them.
They are also asking any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage to make it available to gardaí.
