A man in his 50s has been arrested after drugs worth an estimated €141,000 were seized in Waterford city.

Cannabis, cocaine suspected Alprazolam and Zopiclone tablets, along with over €10,000 in cash, was recovered during a search operation at a property in Ferrybank early today.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Waterford city.

The man was arrested at the scene, and he is being questioned at a Garda Station in Waterford.
