Emergency services are attending the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Cavan.

The incident happened on Bailieborough Rd in Kingscourt, between Caffrey's Cross and the Granada.

Cavan County Fire Service is attending the scene of the collision.

The R165 between Kingscourt and Bailieborough will be closed overnight into tomorrow and diversions are in place.
