A woman in her 70s has died in a house fire in Tipperary town.
Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the blaze at a house in Pearse Park yesterday morning.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place.
The scene of the fire was preserved for technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
