Funerals of two Tyrone crash victims take place

The funerals of two people killed in a head on collision in Co Tyrone on St Stephen's Day have taken place.

Mary Duffy, who was 52, and the mother-in-law of another victim, was buried following mass at St Patrick's Church in Dungannon this afternoon.

The funeral heard that she was "the best mum" and "the best craic".

Her son-in-law, Patrick Rodgers, 26, driver of one of the vehicles in the crash, was buried yesterday.

Earlier, 80-year-old Jennifer Acheson, the driver of the other vehicle, was buried following a funeral service at Desertcreat Parish Church near Cookstown.

All three were killed in the two-vehicle crash that happened on the Dungannon road near Cookstown on Monday afternoon.
