Revenue has seized drugs worth more than €361,000 during routine operations in Dublin.

It said the 17kg of herbal cannabis and 1kg of cannabis resin was found during searches of parcels at two premises in Dublin over the course of today and yesterday.

The illegal drugs were discovered in parcels declared as 'Christmas gifts', 'food' and ‘shoes’.

The parcels originated in the United States, Canada, Spain and Italy, and were destined for addresses in Co Louth and Co Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.
